We do it because we care...
Each year the number of animals we serve increases, as does
the cost to provide a safe and healthy environment for them.
All animals entering our shelter receive basic veterinary care
and are spayed or neutered to prevent more unwanted litters.
However, in many cases where an animal is sick, abused, or injured,
they will require extra veterinary care and TLC.
There are many ways you can help the animals whether it is through
your membership with the society, volunteerism, monetary donations,
fostering animals, donations of goods in kind, or by joining
our team of caring staff. Your cash donation will be utilized
covering the costs of the day-to-day operation unless requested
to be used for specific costs such as the new building fund or
veterinary care.
Although dollars are always an on-going demand, there are many
donations of goods-in-kind that are used at the shelter on a
daily basis. The wishlist consists of these items and is updated
regularly; many of the items are an on-going need at the shelter
and will remain on the list indefinitely. |
