RESCUE ME!

I have been here way too long, please take me home today!

Cindy is active, friendly, playful, outgoing and affectionate. She doesn't mind being brushed, bathed or picked up and having her nails clipped. Cindy is a beautiful girl and has been at the shelter for quite a long time now - it must be her turn to find a loving forever home!

Shadow is talkative and outgoing; he purrs a lot and is generally a very friendly boy. He really loves people, especially children, and he is good with other cats or caged pets. Shadow has a very mature and intelligent look about him and he is truly a lovely cat. Just how much does he really understand? "Only the Shadow knows!"

Missy Cat wants you to know that she can see color and her vision is so sharp that at night she can actually see acoustic vibrations, and her hearing is so acute that she can hear the sound of a bat! Missy Cat also would like you to keep in mind that an indoor cat has a longer lifespan than an outdoor cat and a one year old cat is equivalent to an 18 year old human! In human years, Missy Cat is 36, and she's not getting any younger, so please come and see if you would like to adopt her and her wisdom!

Bella has a very unique pattern on her face that makes her especially beautiful. She longs for a home to call her own!

Sheena wants someone who will see her as an old soul full of wisdom who is seeking a warm, loving retirement home where she can live out her days stress-free and content!

Maya is declawed so will be an indoor pet only. Her and Meisha are sisters and would love to be adopted together!

Bailey is anxious to find a home of his own soon where he will be able to relax and be himself.

Sam Cat has aspirations to become someone's very dear friend any day now. He knows that the right person is out there for him and will walk into the shelter for him soon.

Chameleon can be loving and sweet and fun to cuddle. She can also be playful and cunning and full of mischief. This sweet girl will love you unconditionally and always be there for you - and this will never change as long as she is loved!

Wilma is just so cute and loveable that you can't help stopping and giving her a little pat and asking her how she is doing. She has a beautiful calico coat and kitten-like face - so scrumptious and irresistable - don't you think?

Oscar is a sweet boy who deserves a third chance!! He was brought up in a house with twenty cats, and then surrendered. This is his second stay at the CAHS and we would really love to get him to his final destination. He is a sweet boy who enjoys his independence. He is a bit shy but he is just waiting for the right people to bond with! If you have room in your house and in your heart, for this big, blue eyed boy, please let us know!

Tiki is an absolute sweety! He is a quiet, shy, gentle cat. He loves attention and loves to be brushed and cuddled.  Because we are so full of cats at the moment, Tiki lived in our surgery area for a week where our vet staff fell in love with him!  When they talked to him he would rub against his cage and do a little “happy dance”. Can you give Tiki a second chance?
A quiet home would be best for him and he is on a weight loss diet.

Buzz is a guy who is not afraid to show his emotions!  He is a grumpy middle aged cat, but we still think he deserves a second chance!  He enjoys petting, but he’ll certainly let you know when he’s had enough! The shelter setting is a very stressfull place for a cat to be.  Please forgive Buzz’s bad mood and take a chance on him. Buzz was surrendered by his owners who originally found him as a tiny kitten on a C-Train in Calgary!

Spirit seems to have the heart of a hunter -a very proud looking feline indeed!

Barley would love to have a christmas tree to hide under while she learns all about the habits of her new family. Wouldn't it be nice if she has a new home by the New Year?

Linus is a gorgeous boy who is looking for a great home with lots of warm places to curl up and lots of attention every day.
