Dog Adoption

Daisy Duke'd love to hop into the General Lee and head out on an adventure. But don't worry if you don't have a Dodge Charger - any car will do as long as it's taking her to a loving new home...
Daisy Duke is a friendly and affectionate girl with lots of energy to burn. Unfortunately she has been with us for quite a while, but during that time our wonderful volunteers have helped her develop good manners and social skills. Daisy Duke is a happy, energetic girl who will make an excellent running partner, as she is good on leash and already runs 5 miles with ease! She is rather partial to her toys and may be reluctant to share them with little people so would prefer a home with older children. Daisy Duke had a problem with the enamel forming on her adult teeth so had to have it removed. She has had a special sealant applied to her teeth and will need a good dental hygiene routine. Daisy Duke is a special girl with a great sense of humour and lots of love to give her new forever family. Come meet this fantastic girl today and it will be love at first sight!

Morgan is a calm, gentle girl who can be a little on the shy side initially. She loves to be with her people as much as possible so her new family will need to help her learn it’s cool to have some down time alone too. Morgan is super smart gal who knows all her basic obedience and is a very quick learner. She loves to run and would probably make a great jogging partner. Morgan has been known to do her Houdini impression and attempt to escape from her run, so caution should be used if she is outside alone! She got on well with the dogs and cats in her previous home and whilst she has been around children, she prefers the older, calmer ones. Morgan is a wonderful girl who is anxious to get on with the rest of her life with her new forever family!

Turner is a playful and curious boy who can sometimes get a little over-excited. He is a fun-loving dog with a happy-go-lucky temperament. Although mid-sized, Turner is a strong boy with lots of energy and will do well in a home where he can get lots exercise. This cute guy is rather partial to his food toys so may be a little reluctant to share them with younger children. Turner has lots of love to give his forever family and can’t wait to start his new life with them!

Hooch is a handsome boy who can be a little unsure but warms up very quickly. He loves to be with people and although he’s a big guy, would like to be a lap dog if given half the chance! Hooch is a strong boy who is rather partial to his food, so would prefer a home with older children who won’t be tempted to get in the way of his eating. He is an overgrown pup, who loves to play and will enjoy being in an active household. Hooch is a great dog who is patiently waiting for a loving family to provide him with a wonderful new forever home!

Chuck is no stranger to the shelter having first arrived here in July 2009. He is currently spending time at one of our wonderful foster homes where he is thoroughly enjoying family life! Chuck is an extremely intelligent and very food motivated boy who loves to learn new things. He has a lot of energy to burn and would love a household with another doggy playmate. Chuck is a great running partner who like the Energizer bunny can go on and on – in fact he’s run up to 16k and would still carry on given the chance! He also knows agility and was so quick to learn that he has mastered most of the equipment in a very short amount of time and loved the work!
Chuck was not always such a lovely boy though, and he does have his “quirks” that his new home will need to be prepared to continue working on with him. He would do well in a home with people who have positive reinforcement knowledge and experience. Chuck is a quick learner and with good guidance and direction, it won’t be long before he becomes that wonderful family pet we all want.
Chuck is a really great dog with a lot to offer his new home, but he is not the right dog for everyone, so he will need that special someone to adopt this special boy. He enjoys being around people and spending time in the great outdoors. Chuck is a true companion to those that love, feed, and exercise him and he is depending on his new family to keep up the good work that has been done with him during his lengthy stay with us. Chuck is looking for an energetic adult home that will continue with his training and can keep his mind and body challenged and of course, provide him with all the love this great guy deserves!

Harley is an extremely smart, special guy looking for the perfect home. He is a very energetic, attentive, and loyal boy. Harley is a playful dog who loves toys and rawhides and is currently learning that it is ok to share them, but for now he would prefer an adult only home. He already knows many commands and walks well on-leash, but would do best with an experienced owner who is willing to keep up with his training and help him build confidence. Harley loves to play with other dogs and has lived with cats before. He is looking for a home where he can spend time with his people in the great outdoors and receive all the love and attention he deserves!

Nakoda is a big, handsome boy with lots of energy. He can be a little unsure of himself at times but is a easy-going, friendly lad with those he knows. Whilst Nakoda has good basic obedience, he would enjoy attending classes to help him bond with his new people. He is a playful boy who enjoys a good game of fetch and being with his family in the great outdoors. Nakoda loves his toys but can be reluctant to share them so would prefer a home with older children. He is crate-trained and enjoys spending time in there when his people are not home. Nakoda is looking forward to a fun and active life with his new forever family!

Blackie is a fun, mid-sized boy with bundles of energy. He can get a little over-excited at time so would enjoy obedience classes to help him fine tune his manners and social skills. Blackie is like an overgrown pup, who loves to play and will enjoy being in an active household. He is a loyal boy who is affectionate and attentive to his handler. Blackie is a great dog who is patiently waiting for a loving family to provide him with a wonderful new forever home!

Sammy is an affectionate girl who is a little on the shy side. She is a young girl who would probably enjoy obedience classes to help build her confidence and brush up on her manners. Sammy knows some basic commands and is smart and a quick learner. She has lived with other dogs and cats but does like to chase livestock! Sammy can be a little exuberant so might be too boisterous for little children. Sammy loves attention and is rather partial to belly rubs! This affectionate girl would love to be with a family where she will receive lots of love and attention and can let her playful side shine through!

Lena is a smart, independent girl looking for an active home. She just loves going for walks in the outdoors no matter what the weather, and because she has so much energy, she may make a great running partner. Lena also loves her food and toys so would prefer to live in a home with adults only away from curious children. She is very intelligent and would benefit from additional training and socialization. Lena is a real beauty who will make a wonderful companion for her new forever family!

Moe looks like a big dog in this picture, but he's actually mid-sized - the biggest part of Moe is his heart!

Moe is a happy and friendly dog who enjoys lots of attention and exploring the great outdoors with his people. He is a playful boy who loves his toys, but he doesn’t always like to share them or his food so would prefer a home with older children. Moe has spent some time in one of our loving foster homes who describe him as “absolutely wonderful!” He lived with dogs, cats and livestock there and is so good with cats that he actually helped cure one of her fear of dogs! He's made quite a few canine buddies during his time with us too. Our special boy Moe is a fantastic dog who is patiently waiting for a devoted family to take him home soon!
