Kids Club & Humane Helpers
The goal of these clubs is to learn as much as possible about animals because the more we know, the better we are able to be their friends.
These clubs are for kids and teens who:
- Have a keen interest in animals
- May or may not have pets at home
- Want to learn about all types of animals and their care
- May be interested in a future career working with animals
Cochrane & Area Humane Society Kids Club
The Kids Club is for 8-12 year olds and meets monthly on Sunday afternoons from August to May. Our activities may include presentations from animal experts, field trips, crafts, games, and cuddling shelter animals. Click here to register.
Cochrane & Area Humane Helpers Teens Club
This is an opportunity for young teens aged 13-15 to learn how to work with animals. Activities may include grooming animals, making pet toys, walking dogs, helping with easier cleaning jobs and socializing animals. There is no fee, but a parent must volunteer at all times with their teen. Special training will be provided for parents and teens.
Join with a friend or on your own and meet others with the same love of animals! For more information call (403) 932-2072.
