At the Cochrane & Area Humane Society, staff and volunteers provide food, shelter, medical care and the opportunity for adoption to unwanted, surrendered, lost and unclaimed animals while promoting responsible pet guardianship through educational programs, rural spay/neuter programs, and public fundraising events.
The Society was established in 1998 and 2008 marked our 10th Anniversary! We welcome you to visit the animals in our care at our new animal shelter facility made possible by the generous support of our donors, our friends and our community.
